Karlovy Vary Municipal Theatre

The Karlovy Vary Municipal Theatre was built in 1886 by the popular architects Fellner and Helmer. It was decorated by Gustav Klimt, Ernst Klimt, Franz Matsch, Theodor Friedl and other famous artists. The Pseudo-Rococo building was constructed in line with the contemporary taste and love of Historicism. The painted curtain by the above mentioned artists in its interior cannot be missed. Currently, the theatre offers a wide scale of music and dramatic performances round the year.
