Upper Castle (Horní hrad)

The Middle-Ages guard castle and the chateau of Upper Castle (Horní hrad) from the 13th century, called Hauenštejn, is a cultural centre with a number of options for spending leisure time in an untypical way, with interesting additional programme. There are Gothic cellars, a historic dining hall, trophies hall and knights’ hall with wooden cut ceiling in the castle. The Middle-Ages castle tower and chateau chapel o„ er a gorgeous view of the Doupov Mountains and the Ore Mountains. Children’s corner and refreshments are available at the main castle court.
